In Sydney, look out for AlzNSW volunteers and staff who will be selling merchandise to raise funds and awareness on World Alzheimer’s Day, Tuesday 21 September. Sellers will be in the CBD, North Sydney, Parramatta and Chatswood, as well as at train stations. Memory Walk Sydney The 2010 Memory Walk will be held again in historic Parramatta Park on Sunday 26 September. With live music, a Capoeira display, great food and drinks, and a jumping castle and face painting for the kids, there’s sure to be plenty of family fun. Register individually at the Memory Walk website, or get a team together and start fundraising. Wollongong The Memory Walk will also be held in Wollongong on Saturday 11 September. It will be held from 10am – 2pm, starting at the North Wollongong Surf Club (Galvin Park), and ending at the Continental Baths, Wollongong. There will be entertainment, food, drinks and lots of family fun. T: (02) 4276 4364 Walk for Awareness Amanda Percival will again be walking from Mulbring to Maitland for Alzheimer’s Australia NSW. The 25km walk will be held on Saturday 18 September, and all are welcome.
